When the COD meets the Current of the Divine Feminine…and specifically the current in me….it calls out in me the new information. The drum is re-written. It is en-coded, crystallised, and then made visual through the painting! This occurs in ceremony or through channelling. Regardless, the drum is reborn an Eraklion Drum. A drum with a very specific and very sacred work. It is meant for those that are prepared for the vastness, and unknowing of the Divine Feminine that will begin to whisper into their lives. And it is not something to take lightly! Note of caution! This drum is about un-conditioning our conditioning! If you ever have one…maybe look back to when you started playing on it and what happened in your life! Keep playing—keep playing it will guide you through to new levels of awakening.
My relationship to the COD has been an inspired one! In the beginning the guys and I had a thought that our connection would look a certain way with regard to the opening and sharing of the drum in England where I currently live. And what we found after a lot of trying, was that in our triangle of relationship the drum as we knew it and what it had been creating so far…was not what it wanted in this constellation. When we finally dropped our plan for us and the drum, the coolest thing happened! Our Mentor Sherry Pae came to town. We decided to cancel the workshops we were forcing into existence and use the rented space to combine the COD of the guys with the Divine Feminine of Sherry and I. And it was a crazy amazing night! Sherry was channeling, the guys were playing, our friend Sara was also there playing, and I was painting. The vibe, energy, healing, initiation that happened that night was HUGE! After...we were all in such an expansion and like WOAH!!!! What just happened, what is this, what are we together? Ever since has been the slow unfolding of what happens when we come together letting the drum call out and up in us evolution…. In the next days, after this initial night, the Eraklion drum came into being. I realised I needed to paint the drums. Hidai gave me his and an extra to paint. And in a moment of channeling, the COD became Eraklion! The painting comes when the impulse or message arrives. Out of these first two drums all the other drums have been re-birthed. Each under ceremonial moments alike to this first spontaneous night--to ceremony around unconditioning, ceremony walking over fire, and most recently a pilgrammage to sacred sites on Crete exploring the Divine Feminine. Each drum is the bearer of a transmission. Each one is encoded with specific symbols and sacred writing. These drums are meant for specific people! I can tell when one is painted that it is meant precisely for a specific owner.
